Festival of Chamber Dance

The festival has a ten-year history.

It is organized by the Municipality of Haskovo, Haskovo Youth Center and the Bulgarian Dance Sport Federation.
The tournament is a contest and serves as National qualifications for European Championship dance show and qualifications for the National Championship dance show. The contest gives many children and young people a chance to express their dancing skills in different dance show styles- classical dance, modern dance and jazz, ethno show and Latino shows. The competitive character of the festival increases the participants' motivation to express their creative achievements in the best possible way. Each year participants in the festival show original thematic and narrative performances in various genres of dance art.

Festival categories:
- Solo (one player, boy or girl)
- Duo / couple (2 participants from one or different sexes)
- Small group (3 to 7 participants in one dance)
- Formation (8 to 24 participants in one dance)

Age categories:
- 8 years
- 9 to 11 years
- 12 to 15 years
- Over 16 years
